Coupler Identification Note:
Newer couplers are cross-compatible with older styles. However, FFI couplers will not operate in FFH blocks, and vice versa. To identify your coupler style, check the manufacturer’s stamp: older units show FFI or FI, while newer versions show FFH or FH. Stamps are located on the outer sleeve of male couplers and on the side of blocks. For blocks inside the lift arm, removal may be required to confirm the marking.
